The successful automotive executive brings over 27 years of experience
TROY, Mich., Jan. 5, 2015 – Inteva Products, LLC, welcomes Uwe Vander-Stichelen as Executive Director of the Roof Systems Product Line. Reporting directly to Inteva CEO and President Lon Offenbacher, Vander-Stichelen will lead the company’s roof systems business line strategy and performance, driving enhancements to the quality, delivery and profitability of this global product line. Inteva is a global leader in the development and production of low-weight sunroof systems and modules with in-house capabilities that include the development and fabrication of encapsulated glass; motors and guide rails, and roller blind technologies.
Vander-Stichelen began his career in 1987 as an R&D engineer at Mercedes-Benz, Stuttgart, and brings to Inteva over 27 years of experience and success within the global automotive industry. His prior experiences include 11 years at Johnson Controls Automotive as General Manager and Global Business Unit Manager where he ran a successful turnaround program during the challenging global automotive crisis in 2009, while launching three major global platforms.
Prior to his work at Johnson Controls, Vander-Stichelen served 12 years at Delphi Automotive Systems in Wuppertal, Germany, where he was responsible for the European marketing mix for all of Delphi’s customers.

Vander-Stichelen earned his diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Applied Science in Bochum and also has a diploma in Business Engineering (Sales & Marketing) from the AKAD University Pinneberg. He will work out of Inteva’s Dietzenbach office.
