Inteva's commitment to design was reinforced at the 2014 Motor City Automotive Industry Night (MAIN) event with a short video about automotive design. The MAIN event hosted by Lawrence Technological University was held in January and kicked off the 2014 North American Internation Auto Show. The video was shown as part of the program's formal events and was later featured at the auto show.

On Sunday, January 13th Inteva had a prominent role at the prestigious 2013 Motorcity Automotive Industry Night (MAIN) event hosted by Lawrence Technological University. The invitation-only event took place at Orchestra Hall in Detroit, Michigan and was the first event of the 2013 North American International Auto Show Preview week. The guest list includes top designers and senior executives from automakers worldwide. Reservations were received by many members of the international media who flew into Detroit to cover the auto show new product launches. This exclusive event was a celebration of design excellence and showcased the creative efforts of student designers attending LTU's College of Design. Guests had the opportunity to hear from and meet the visionary global executives who are shaping the automotive marketplace for success today and in the future. Inteva CEO Lon Offenbacher was a featured speaker on the official program and talked about the new energy in the design community that's transforming the interior vehicle experience. He highlighted Inteva's efforts on the Tesla Model S, named Motor Trend magazine's Car of the Year, and the General Motors Lambda program (instrument panels for the GMC Acadia, Chevy Traverse, and Buick Enclave) which received the Grand Award for the Society of Plastic Engineers. Two Inteva customers were honored at the event during the MAIN Awards ceremony. • 'Global Industry Executive of the Year' honor went to Elon Musk, CEO and Head of Product Design at Tesla Motors, as well as CEO & Chief Designer of SpaceX • 'Industry Innovator of the Year' honor went to Moray Callum, Executive Director of Americas Design, Ford Motor Company. MAIN event executives also presented the 'Next Generation of Design Innovation' award to one of four Lawrence Tech Senior students. Inteva President & CEO Lon Offenbacher serves on the MAIN Event executive committee responsible for selecting the honorees for this year's event. The team at Inteva's Matamoros, Mexico Plant 2 rallied behind their adopted Elementary School, La Corregidora, to help the students build tables for the school's patio food court. Not only did the Plant donate scrap wood from unused skids as well as paint, but the employees at Matamoros also volunteered their personal time to complete the Eco-Tables Project. With the help of Inteva employees and La Corregidora students and parents, 49 tables were built and painted for the students' use.
