  • 2017 GM Supplier of the Year

    April 2018

    Inteva has been named as a 2017 Supplier of the Year by General Motors. Inteva was one of 132 suppliers from 17 countries to receive the honor for consistently creating outstanding value, bringing new innovations to GM and exceeding expectations for quality, execution, and total enterprise cost. Inteva provides GM with instrument panels, door trim panels, floor consoles, latches and InteatherTM TPO material solutions.

  • General Motors “Outstanding 2017 On-Time Shipping Performance”

    April 2018

    Inteva Matamoros Operations, Adrian Operations, Brownsville Support Center, Inteva Direct Ship Operations and the Inteva Troy Service Group received the award for “Outstanding 2017 On-Time Shipping Performance” from General Motors Customer Care and Aftersales division (GMCCA). This award recognizes the outstanding systemic approach, advanced planning and attention to detail to ensure raw material supply, production capabilities and packaging are in place to meet GMCCA’s delivery expectations on a day-to-day basis.

  • Inteva Waigoqiao named SGM Supplier of the Year

    April 2018

    Inteva Products’ Waigoqiao Operations was named 2017 Supplier of the Year by SAIC General Motors (SGM). The award was presented to Inteva during the Suppliers’ Awards Ceremony in Shanghai. The Waigoqiao plant produces products for SGM and several other customers.

  • Excellent Product Development of the Year

    March 2018

    Inteva Products’ Waigoqiao Operations was awarded the award for Excellent Product Development of the Year, by Geely. Among Geely’s 1,175 suppliers, Inteva was one of only 25 suppliers who won the award. Waigoqiao Operations was acknowledged for outstanding performance in product development.

  • VW Quality Capable and Best Quality Performance Awards

    December 2017

    Pune Operations was awarded for achieving an “A” rating and affirmed “Quality Capable” for supplying products to VW after receiving a 90% on the VDA 6.3 Process and Product Audit. The site was also acknowledged for “Best Quality Performance” for maintaining zero PPM in FY 2016 and 2017 for VW sites in India, Brazil and Russia.

  • Nation’s Best and Brightest in Wellness®

    December 2017

    Inteva Products was named one of the 2017 Best and Brightest in Wellness® companies in the U.S. This award is presented to companies that demonstrate their commitment to employee wellness and a healthy work environment. Inteva was one of 76 businesses, and one of very few automotive suppliers, that were honored with this national recognition.

  • SPE Automotive Division Hall of Fame

    November 2017

    Inteva was named to the Automotive Division of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE®)  Hall of Fame for the thermoplastic polylefin (TPO) skin first used on the 2000 Pontiac Bonneville. Inteva accepted the recognition along with its customer, General Motors, at the SPE's 47th annual Automotive Innovatiion Awards Competition & Gala.

     

  • Staffmark Safety Committee Award

    November 2017

    Inteva Vandalia Technical Center (VTC) was awarded with a safety award from the temporary staffing agency, Staffmark. The recognition was given to Inteva for demonstrating excellent safety programs and continuously working to improve the safety and communication. VTC was selected as a winner from numerous nominations Staffmark received from its eight Dayton, Ohio locations.

     

  • Employer of the Year

    October 2017

    Inteva Gadsden Operations was named Employer of the Year by Darden Rehabilitation.  Gadsden Operations was acknowledged for its ongoing commitment to Darden Rehabilitation. Since 2011, employees from Gadsden have been working side by side with the organization to help assist people with disabilities find, obtain, and secure competitive employment.

  • The Best and Brightest in Wellness

    Inteva received the 2017 Michigan’s Best and Brightest in Wellness® award for our commitment to employee wellness and success in maintaining a healthy environment and culture. Inteva was one of 74 businesses– and the only automotive tier-one supplier – honored with the recognition.

     

  • Best Plants

    September 2017

    Inteva was selected as a finalist in the 2017 IndustryWeek Best Plants awards competition. Inteva was one of 19 finalists. The IndustryWeek Best Plants Awards program annually recognizes North American plants that demonstrate manufacturing excellence. A panel of Industry Week editors and outside experts ranked applicants in such areas as quality, customer and supplier relations, employee involvement, productivity, cost containment, manufacturing flexibility, inventory management, safety performance and market results.

  • India Altair Technology Conference

    July 2017

    Team members from Inteva’s India Technical Center placed third for the paper, “Optimization Studies of an Automotive Latch Actuator Housing Using OptiStruct,” at the 2017 India Altair Technology Conference. The paper was one of the 26 submissions in the Optimization Component/ Subsystem category. The paper presented how topology optimization could be applied on the hard stops of actuator housing against a typical abuse torque

     

  • Entrepreneur of the Year

    Our CEO, President and Founder Lon Offenbacher was named a 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year in Automotive & Technology for the Michigan and Northern Ohio Region. The annual Ernst & Young (EY) Entrepreneur of the Year award honors entrepreneurs who excel in innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their business and communities.

     

  • CORP! Economic Bright Spot

    June 2017

    Inteva was named one of Corp! Magazine's 2017 Michigan Economic Bright Spots. Winners were selected based on recent growth as well as their economic impact in Michigan. Inteva was recognized in the large business category for its continued expansion and creation of new jobs filled with Michigan talent.

     

  • CLEPA Innovation Awards

    Inteva received an international innovation award for our structurally integrated large panoramic sliding roof for our customer, Daimler. The 2017 CLEPA Innovation Awards, organized in cooperation with Deloitte, celebrate automotive excellence in the categories of Environment, Safety, Connectivity & Automation and Cooperation.

     

  • Best Employers in Ohio

    May 2017

    Inteva was  selected as one of the 2017 Best Employers in Ohio. The annual list was created by the Ohio SHRM State Council. The statewide survey and awards program is designed to identify recognize and honor the companies in Ohio that best benefit the state's economy, workforce and businesses.

  • Jaime Bermúdez Cuarón Medal

    February 2017

    Inteva Mexico Technical Center (MTC) in Juarez was awarded the Jaime Bermúdez Cuarón Medal by AMAC-Juarez (The Association of the Maquila Industry). The medal, named after a local leader and pioneer of the manufacturing industry in Mexico, is awarded to organizations involved in social causes. MTC employees helped the ‘Casa Hogar Mi Esperanza,’ a center that provides food, shelter and assistance to adults over the age of 65 who have been rescued from the streets. The Inteva team collected and donated food, clothing, blankets and other basic necessities and volunteered their time.

  • Alabama Manufacturer of the Year

    May 2016

    Inteva Products Gadsden was named a 2016 Alabama Manufacturer of the Year Finalist. This program honors the companies that bring uncompromising excellence to Alabama manufacturing. These awards recognize the state’s top manufacturers for their accomplishments. Applicants are judged on financial growth, workforce enhancement, market and manufacturing leadership and leadership development. Awards are presented in three categories based on employee size and revenues. Inteva Products Gadsden competed in the large manufacturer category.

  • Dayton Healthiest Employer

    May 2016

    This program recognizes organizations that create and implement outstanding health and wellness programs. All nominees were evaluated using six core areas of workplace wellness including culture and leadership commitment; foundational components; strategic planning; communication and marketing; programming and interventions; and reporting and analysis. Inteva's wellness program, Wellness 4 Life, is aimed at educating employees on the personal and company benefits of living healthy lives, improving the well- being of employees and their families, and creating a healthy worksite culture. In Vandalia, an employee-driven wellness committee organized activities such as regular walks during the lunch hour to promote a culture of health.
