As part of our ongoing sustainability initiatives, Inteva India conducted a Plantation Drive, in celebration of World Environment Day, exemplifying our commitment to environment.
The theme for World Environment Day 2024 was ‘Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience’ which emphasizes land restoration and collective work to combat desertification and build drought resilience. Keeping this theme as basis, Inteva India carried out an event called ‘Keep Your Surroundings Green by Donating Seeds’.
Employees came together to donate a variety of seeds. Seed plantation aids land restoration by stabilizing soil, improving water management, and enhancing soil fertility. It also mitigates climate change and boosts biodiversity, creating a healthier ecosystem. During the event, 50 variety of plants were donated, including mango, Arabian jasmine, hibiscus, bitter gourd, pumpkin, and golden dewdrop.
Inteva India employees were also encouraged to choose green transportation options, such as public transport, carpool, bicycling, and electric vehicles. Green transport reduces carbon footprint by decreasing greenhouse gas emissions, improving air quality, and combating climate change. It also conserves natural resources by utilizing energy-efficient and renewable technologies.
