Inteva Products Expands India Operations, Announces Second Pune Plant and New Product Launches

Pune/Bangalore: Inteva Products LLC, a leading US based global supplier of automotive systems and components, today announced a significant expansion of its India operations. The company will establish a second manufacturing facility in Pune and plans to introduce a range of next-generation products tailored for the evolving Indian mobility landscape.

 

With over 17 years of service to both global and Indian customers, Inteva reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the region’s automotive ecosystem – emphasizing sustainable growth, local employment generation, and the advancement of innovative mobility solutions.

 

Expanding Manufacturing Footprint and Employment Opportunities

Inteva’s existing manufacturing facility in Pune and its technical center in Bengaluru continue to play a pivotal role in the company’s global operations. The upcoming second plant in Pune marks a major capacity expansion, enabling increased production volumes and deeper integration with local supply chains.

With an investment of ₹ 50 Crores, the new facility is expected to generate over 400 new jobs, further contributing to India’s dynamic automotive sector and supporting local communities.

Inteva also announced a suite of next-generation products tailored for major automotive customers in India:

• Frameless Window Regulators
• Power Folding Actuators and Glass Actuators
• SLIM (Small Light Inteva Motor) for Window Regulators
• E-Latch, Frunk Latch and Power Tailgates

These technologies advance vehicle safety, weight reduction, and electrification – enabling India’s transition to future mobility.

 

Strengthening Technical Center Capabilities

Building on its strong engineering foundation, Inteva’s India Technical Center in Bengaluru continues to serve as a global hub for product design, validation & simulation, and business support. With over 320 professionals, including more than 180 engineers, the center reinforces Inteva’s reputation for technical excellence and flawless execution.

 

Commitment to Sustainability and Responsible Manufacturing

Inteva’s Pune plant now boasts a 335-kW solar energy installation, leveraging over 1,000 solar panels to significantly reduce carbon emissions. This initiative aligns with Inteva’s global focus on renewable energy, responsible resource consumption, and material innovation. The company is advancing material circularity through research on repurposed industrial resins and proactively participates in customer-driven Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) assessments.
