  • Troy Employees Unite to Raise $9,299.60 for Local Charities

    Inteva Troy employees have come together to reach an all-time high in charitable donations through creative and collaborated efforts to raise needed funds for local charities. In addition to Troy’s weekly cookout luncheons hosted by an employee volunteer group named People Helping the Underprivileged and Needy (PHUN), where employees purchase lunch with proceeds going to a different selected charity each month, were other opportunities for employees to give to those in need.

  • Gadsden Team Members Raise $9,200 for United Way

    Inteva team members at the manufacturing plant in Gadsden, Alabama have just completed their local United Way campaign raising needed funds for the Etowah County United Way.

    “We were able to raise $9200 compared to the $6700 that was raised last year,” reports Joyce Luker, Plant Manager, Gadsden Operations. “This was a 37% increase with only half as many people.”

  • Brazil Employees Delight Daycare Children with Sweet Treats

    Employees in Cordeirópolis, Brazil collected donations to buy candy and other edible sweets for a local donation-based daycare center for struggling families in Limeira, Brazil – Creche Centro Infantil Fabio Franco de Oliveira Vista Alegre. Inteva employees decided to donate such special treats to honor these children on Children’s Day, a national holiday celebrated each year in Brazil on October 12.

    “This was a unique way to give back to the community and show the local children special attention and care who may not have otherwise received special gifts on this important day,” said Aluisio Gallo, Site Manager at Cordeirópolis.

    With generous donations totaling more than $200, Inteva employees purchased sweets including individual bags of popcorn, lollipops, gummy candy and chocolates much to the delight of the children.

  • Mexico Technical Center Team Hosts ‘Enchilidas and a Movie for a Cause’ to Help Employee’s Son

    After an Inteva employee at Mexico Technical Center shared the devastating news of her son’s diagnosis of Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia, a group of MTC employees gathered together to brainstorm fundraising ideas to help with treatment and bone marrow transplant costs. The group came up with a unique and fun fundraiser, ‘Enchilidas and a Movie for a Cause, engaging all employees and their families to pitch in to help make a difference for this family.

  • Inteva Products India Team Supports Children through Sparsha Trust's Makkala Dhama Initiative

    Inteva Products employees in India volunteered their time and energy to support children in need residing at the Makkala Dhama, a home for children operated as an initiative of the Sparsha Trust, a non-profit organization that helps children and youth in communities and villages in and around Bangalore, India. Makkala Dhama is a home for 50 children who were child laborers, orphans, street children or drop-outs. It is located at Kuduregere in the outskirts of Bengaluru.

  • Bill Hanna Presents Troy's Donation of $1,176.07 to the Muscular Dystrophy Association During Lock Up Fundraising Event 

    To support the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Bill Hanna, Vice President and Executive Director, Closure Systems, agreed to be “arrested” for having a big heart in the MDA’s annual “Lock up” fundraising event. This unique community-wide event raises funds for people with neuromuscular diseases. In the spirit of fun and teamwork, money is raised to be “bail money” to free the locked-up executive.

    PHUN, the volunteer team at Troy HQ focused on supporting charitable organizations, dedicated all PHUN cookouts in August to support MDA and its Lock Up event. PHUN  ( People Helping the Underprivileged and Needy)  used the proceeds from the cookouts along with other employee donations to create the “bail money” needed to free Bill at  the September 14 Muscular Dystrophy Association Lock Up event.
