In 2016, the approximately 400 employees at Troy World Headquarters sponsored internal fundraisers that garnered more than $20,000, collected and donated hundreds of food items and supplies, and volunteered countless hours in support of 15 Southeast Michigan charities.
Charities were chosen by each department, with many people choosing something that was close to their heart. Selected charities includedChildren’s Hospital of Michigan, Habitat for Humanity,Oakland Family Services,Wish Upon A Teen,Wigs 4 Kids, Methodist Children’s Home Society,Camp Kesem, and Judson Center, among others.
“Community outreach is extremely important at Inteva Troy,” said Randi Taylor, Communications Specialist. “Our employees were excited about finding rewarding opportunities to give back and bring joy to others in 2016. The team showed a lot of heart.”
Throughout the year’s charitable activities, Inteva Troy employees were onsite in the community serving food, building houses, beautifying parks, delivering meals, wrapping and delivering gifts, tutoring children and providing companionship for those in need. Employees also shopped for toys and other needed goods, baked desserts, and collected clothing to help their selected causes.
