Inteva Salonta Team Supports Local High School STEM Program

The Inteva team in Salonta, Romania recently held a fundraiser for a local high school, Teodor Nes, with the goal of purchasing a 3D printer for student use. Inteva shows its interest and support for the future of automotive talent in many ways and this fundraising effort will help develop the local students in the fundamentals of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

The 3D printer was delivered to the school in October during the programming laboratory. At the time of delivery, the students were in the middle of their weekly CoderDojo activity, a global volunteer-led community initiative offering free programming clubs for young people between the ages of 7 and 17.

The students there are very passionate about programming and robots and were proud to share some of their first projects with Inteva which included robotic pianos that would play by touching the air.

Inteva Salonta’s sponsorship of this local high school shows Inteva’s commitment to the development of young professionals in STEM and positions the company as a great place for the students to intern and work as they establish their careers.

Great work to the team in Salonta!
